Nova Femme is a brand that I recently launched. It is a women's made-to-measure brand in Tallinn, Estonia. It offers suits, professional dresses, blouses, coats and also loungewear.

For Nova Femme:

  • all product images are computer-rendered

  • we are developing virtual fitting to replace physical fitting and client visits

  • we are developing a "mascot avatar" to be the face of this brand

For this American start-up, the designs were derived from sketches for the designer to visualize her designs.

Custom pose made in DAZ3D to match the client's sketches.

Workwear 3D model derived from a .dxf file (pattern) and a tech pack for an Estonian start-up.

This project was made for an individual who asked for a dress pattern from a specific anime character to be used for Cosplay. In this case the 3D model is an exact form of the initial dress. The client was provided tips to sew the dress successfully in real life as well.

I have always enjoyed drawing portraits, so I also enjoy creating 3D avatars of characters/people, although it is totally different. First experiments are of famous characters from Netflix series. When creating the pose and the scene, I don't seek for ultimate precision to the reference picture. I don't want to copy, but create art, that is sometimes to take the reference picture further, let the imagination thrive a little as well.

Programs used: DAZ3D for avatars, CLO3D for clothes and rendering, Affinity for final touches

Characters: Harvey Specter from The Suits, Beth Harmon from Queen's Gambit
